Idea Generation
First, each of us presented his or her own ideas and simple scripts, and we discussed them together.
and here's mine

I've written a very simple script with only one scene and three characters, so there won't be too much work, and it's quite easy to understand, and I've drawn a simple storyboard so others can see my vision.

the collection of our ideas

the final script that we choose
Following our discussion, however, we felt that my script lacked many exciting or attractive scenes. So, in the end, we chose the idea proposed by a member of the team and discussed it. A number of modifications were made during this process, including the scenes where the characters appeared, the actions of the characters, and other details, in order to ensure that the entire plot was complete and logical.
After chatting online, we decided on the final script
shanghua is responsble for the storyboard and the script
Beginning: Storyboard 1-15
A close up on a hand holding a phone reveals a google map direction, the tourist seen being glued to the screen bumps into something huge over him. As he looks up at the looming shadow the turkey lets out a fierce cry. In a state of shock and scared the man stumbles backwards, just to see the exit door shutting.
Rising action: Storyboard 16-36
A close-up on the true matador's advertisement poster. Then switch to the tourists being chased by the turkey. (Comparison of the headline of the ad "Best Matador" with the unlucky tourists)
The tourists run toward the gate he was thrown into. He knocked on the gate and tried to ask someone to open it. He looks back to check the turkey. As the turkey runs towards him in anger, he knocks the gate much harder while screaming.
Beside him he saw a rag on the floor. He picked it up and tried to act like a true matador. (An egg logo on the rag) But somehow Turkey didn't have any reaction to it. He was confused, so he looked at the rag. Then he looked back at Turkey.
Climax: Storyboard 40-69
The turkey suddenly jumped on him, yet he managed to run quickly back to the center of the arena. The turkey was smashed by the door, got infuriated and rushed towards him. The tourist had a terrified look, and they ended up running in circles. This led the audience to throw trash at them and he somehow caught a plunger, making him come to halt and got into a sword fighting stance. The turkey also came to an immediate halt with a laughing expression undermining the tourist.
Falling action & ending: 70-73
The turkey has been smashed away by the plunger just like this. He stands beside the swoon-worthy turkey in embarrassment and confusion.
He defeated Turkey and thus received applause.
Then move to the credits page.
At the end of the first discussion, we also initially assigned part and estimated the time

start working
2D
Following that, we divide up the part, and discuss the scripy ending again

Following the design of the main character, we requested the tutor's opinion and suggestions and rewrote the script ending.

Once we rewrote the script ending, we decided what props we need to make and drew concept art and the storyboard

for me, i did the environment part
blessing help me to do the simple interior part of the enviromnet

First, I conduct some research on the environment

final concept art of the environment

3D model

Considering that I am responsible for the environment, it is quite hard for me to create the exact same model as we expected. In order to learn how to do the modeling, I searched a lot of sources on the Internet, and I also used some sources that were copyright free on the Internet and customized them.

some processes of making the environment
A basic view of the environment

For the stairs and the seats, I used the model from the internet and customized it because it would take too long for me to do it,as i don't have enough time, but i also add somee detail by my own.

My teammate also finished the character model as well as some details like the layout of the phones, some props, and also the key frame. We also decided the frames that were needed separately.

My teammate's work on some props and how the textures should look

The final scene would look like this, my team member finished the texture and i also finished the texture of the environment
, and I followed their key frame for the color.

After that, we begin to work on the animatics, I am responsible for shots 1 through 6. Compared to modeling, animatics are harder for me as I have to ensure that the character's actions are coherent.

These are the rendered images and animations from SHO1 to 6 (the part I was in charge of). The lighting and rendered effects are much better than I imagined

The part that my team members are responsible for

My teammember helped me modify the shot I made after almost all the work was done,as theenironment i make maybe too bright.
